6 weeks or so ago, I saw an article about a woman across the county from me that dreamed of growing lots and lots of flowers.... and then, she stopped dreaming about it and did it !
She also thought about selling subscriptions for flowers to be delivered throughout the county during the growing season.... and then.... she did it!... a limited number of course, to make sure she could provide.
There were choices of having flowers delivered every week or every other week over a 20 week period. Monday or Thursday, you choose !
I chose every other week. 10 deliveries for $150. Pretty good deal I thought for fresh cut local flowers.... I mean delivery and all.
They bring randomly selected flowers from whatever happens to be blooming at the time.
These shots are from my second delivery which was today. I didn't quite make it here with photos from the first ones, but maybe some of them will show up in some posts later.

It's a pretty neat setup. On the first delivery, the flowers came in a tall black plastic bucket with some water in it. You put the flowers into your own vases and when it is time for delivery day again, you put the bucket back out on your porch (or wherever you want your flowers delivered). They come, leave a new bucket/bouquet and take the previous bucket back.
Fun ! Fun ! ... well, if you like cut flowers it is... and I do!
