Because I'm happy!

What is happiness?

Can I ever answer that?

I feel the definition of happiness is one of the broadest definitions that ever existed. But in the lexical world, according to the Oxford dictionary, happiness is defined as the state of being happy. That brings about the question of what "happy" means.

I believe the acrostic poem I composed more than two years ago, "Happy," provides a clear explanation of what happiness entails. Enjoy!

Both short-term and long-term happiness exist, in my opinion. You can experience happiness in a variety of situations, like as when you learn that your Hive article fared well, when your sports team wins a game, or when you have a particular moment with someone you care about.

Different factors can contribute to happiness or being happy, however, not everyone will experience the same levels of happiness or excitement as you do.

Happiness can be experienced when enjoying one's favorite television program, a well-prepared meal, or beloved music; little, seemingly insignificant things can also make one happy and make one smile.

The majority of the aforementioned criteria mostly result in happiness in the short term. Those sorts of enjoyment go as fast as they may, but what many individuals lack is long-lasting or self-induced happiness.

Many people mistakenly believe that a smile indicates happiness; nevertheless, a depressed individual might also have a smile on their face. Happiness is an internal state that is impossible to fake; even if you could, you would be able to tell whether you were genuinely happy or not. You can't fool yourself into thinking you're happy when you're not.

We continually deal with challenges because of the world in which we live. Today, some people live in conflict zones in some areas of the world, some are victims of natural catastrophes, and so on. Because of the fragile and illusory nature of world peace, we must seek happiness within.

What leads to happiness?

I believe that contentment is one of the fundamental factors of happiness. There will be no reason for you to not be happy if you are pleased with what you already have. It is sometimes claimed that while human necessities may be satisfied, human wants are insatiable.

It is frequently discovered that happiness cannot exist without mental tranquility.

  • Additionally, in order to be at peace with yourself, you must always be honest with both yourself and others, regardless of the circumstance.
  • You must also act appropriately at the appropriate moment. You might never be able to discover happiness if you don't do the correct things at the appropriate time because most procrastinators aren't happy.

What makes me happy

When I am being honest with myself and with others and when I am not lying to anyone, I am happy.

Happiness is a state of being when your mind and other external variables are at peace with one another, not when you won't need to worry.

Knowing the truth, being confident, and acting appropriately when it matters are the ingredients for happiness. Happiness is the best.
