Christmas Table And Recipes

Yesterday I made a post about how Christmas is all about family , loved ones and the moment we must dream our future . Today is Christmas and here in Greece we gather around in the family table to eat so I am going to share with you some the recipes from our festive table.

Pork Belly

Ingredients:
about 1 kg pork belly, skin-on
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 190°C

Make shallow crisscross cuts on the skin side using a sharp knife. This helps the skin to crisp up during roasting.

Rub the pork belly all over with olive oil and the rest of the ingredients.

()

Roast the pork belly in the preheated oven for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the skin is crispy and the meat is cooked through.
Once done, let the pork belly rest for a few minutes before slicing. This helps the juices redistribute, keeping the meat moist.

And voila this is the main Plate for your festive table.!

Tirosalata

Every festive table need tirosalata but I don't have the recipe because it was bought from the Super Market.
