ANOTHER FUN TIME AT PAPIEES MEATRO

For some days now, I have been away from Hive, not blogging or even curating. I have been pretty occupied with real-life activities and one of them was my visit again this last week to Papiee's meatro with my friends. Yeah the same group of friends that I was with upper week.

We met because we had an exam to do online and we wanted to do it together. We all live far away from each other but this restaurant is the mid-point of our journey. Getting to this place on that day took me about 4 hours.

I live in Ikorodu Lagos, and someone who stays around there would understand how much traffic is a problem in Lagos. I happened to make use of BRT that day so I can curve my way away from traffic but I had to wait good 2 hours in the queue before I could finally get onto a bus.

My friends on the other hand have not gotten familiarized with the way to the restaurant and almost got lost along the way. I could not stop laughing when I received a call from one of them that they don't know where they are and how they got to Surulere instead of dropping at Yaba. This makes me wonder where the hell was Google Maps? I never expected them to miss the road because we have been at that location 3 times before now and it sounded so funny.

We both arrived at the restaurant at the same time and were happy to see each other. You know the normal guy-to-guy greetings now. After then, we went straight to the business of the day which was to do our exams together. We took it in queues, Alexander attempted his first, I do mine next and then @monioluwa would do his last.

The highlight of the day was our exams because we were having a fun time telling each other the wrong answers. You know that kind of joke when you see a very simple question and you find that your friend doesn't know it. That is usually the best time to whine them with the wrong answer πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…. It is always fun! we all did that for each other though. But we helped each other and tried our best we pick the best possible right answer.

@chosenfinger scored 92% in his exam while @monioluwa and I scored 90% each. It was surely a pass mark for us. We were happy we scored high since passing that exam is required for us to get to the next semester of our class. We also had assignments to do but we chose to eat first before attempting the assignment.

They ordered yam, while I ordered potato with fish sauce and for the drinks, we took 3 bottles of 5alive pulpy. I didn't take many pictures of the food. I wasn't in the picture mood then or thoughts about making a post for his on Hive. It then later occurred to me that I could have taken more pictures.

The funny thing is that we planned on attempting our assignment after eating but we were lying to ourselves because after we ate, we were not just in the mood again. We were just gisting and talking about different things, girls most especially πŸ˜‚πŸ€£. That was when we were whining to each other and asking which babe is on ground at the moment πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

After all the gist and whining, we decided to do the assignment individually and then if anyone of us does it first, then they share answers to the group so they call all check out the answers as well.

Below are some of the pictures we took before leaving the restaurant.
