Relationships are of different kinds, and all of them have one or more things in common in other to grow, be successful or even be killed. And that is COMMUNICATION.

Likewise, Social Media has a different purpose, it could be for communication, sharing updates or information among individuals or writing/creating content.

But above all, one of the most important factors in any relationship is communication. Where there is proper and constant communication, there will be growth. People like to feel important wherever they are, that's why keeping in touch with one another is very important.

When discussing communication, social media is one of the most important tools and most wonderful thing that has happened to our world. With it, communication is no longer a challenge.

Social Media in Businesses Relationship.

Your relationship and communication with those working for you are very vital to your employees. Because as I stated above, "people want to feel important". If you only communicate with them when you have an assignment or an instruction to give, they will feel they are less important. This is what social media has helped to bridge the gap in long-term communication. Keeping constant communication will help build that mindset of one being important to the organisation or company. And this is the key to better performance. As a businessman or woman, your customers need to be updated, they need to know what is trending in the market. And it is your responsibility to keep them posted. This help to build a strong and lasting relationship between the business owner and their customers. Constant communication with your customers or clients is so important in other to keep in touch and to build trust among themselves.

Social Media in a Romantic Relationship.

As I grew up, I learned that as a guy after getting a lady's contact, you have to wait at least twenty-four hours or more before placing a call or text to her, that this shows that you're not being desperate or you have to play nor being cheap. Things have changed, it is no longer that way.

That was a side talk, let's return to the main thing
To build a strong and lasting romantic relationship with your partner, constant communication is required.

A dear friend of mine said something and I quote;

Communication fuels passion

How do you feel when you wake up one morning and you receive a sweet good morning text message or voice note on your WhatsApp or Telegram from this person you love so much?

This alone can make the rest of your day a blissful one. And I am sure all through the day you will constantly be thinking about them.

THE KILLING SIDE

Just as wonderful as social media is in any relationship in terms of communication when wrongly used, it can cause harm, especially in a Romantic Relationship such as cheating, flirting and more. Relationships are meant to be enjoyed, in a situation whereby social media becomes a stumbling block to its growth of it, then it is advisable to give it some space while you work on your relationship with it. In a long-distance relationship, social media can be of great help to keep both partners in touch with each other, rather than voice calls.

But if both partners are in the same place, then it can be for either business purposes or another. It is not supposed to affect the relationship in any way if both partners use it for a good course.

Social Media has milked in Relationship

When something is used for the wrong purpose or reasons it can have a negative effect. This is the same way with social media. If it is being used for a wrong act or purpose it can cause so much harm.

But the reverse is the case here in building relationships. Using social media to build a relationship of any kind is a good course. And I do not think there is any harm caused here.

When using it for the right purpose...

It helps to promote the relationship with your Partner, Friends, business Colleagues, Customers, Clients Employees etc. Social media help us to build trust among ourselves.

As the saying goes;

When the purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable.

Knowing the purpose of what social media is for, and using it to apply it rightly will help a lot of relationships achieve their goals.
