Four Working Days And Longer Working Hours? No!

Sometime ago, if you ever asked me what I want to become, I’d tell you I wan to be a baby girl for a living. Well, I knew fully well that I want to be an entertainer but at the same time, I never wished to work.
Till now, I still don’t feel like doing any other work aside from being an entertainer even though I have a mini mart but running it is quite easy aside from some date that may be stressful especially when I’d have to go to the market and that’s the most stressful part of it just like today that I’ve been to the market this morning.

Things have changed now and I want to make money but still not work. It’s not possible, right? I don’t feel like working but I just have to. That’s the logic. If you had asked me then if I wanted us to have four working days, honestly, I would not hesitate. If it’s possible not to ever work, that would have been the best option but not anymore.

How do I think things will be if we only only had four working days in a week

No matter how bad something can be, we will surely have something to benefit from it. It will be good of course. A lot of people will have more time to have fun and even spend more time with their family.
Especially men, there are so many people who don’t get to spend time with their family or even get to have a good rest because they are working every time so this will surely have a way of helping them boost their mental health and they may even get the time to go for regular check ups to stay healthy. We are likely to see more people have quality times with their family.

The bad side of it is that it may make people less productive especially those who don’t go home to work more or even learn more until they get to their workplace during the following week.
Imagine working four days a week and you are taking three days break, don’t you think it is too much?

Don’t you think you are likely to forget the things you have learned if you take three days break?
Don’t you think you may slack if you get to work the following week?
I say no to this because three days break is too much especially if we don’t want to get rusty at work.

What if it is for four days but longer hours at work?

I still say no to this. If you spend longer hours at work, you are likely to get less productive because as human beings, we are not supposed to work ourselves out or out work ourselves. We need break and that is why it is better to always work eight to nine hours at work then go home to rest for the next day instead of spending ten to twelve hours at work.
This will only make you tired and it is likely for you to come and make some corrections on the next day because you did what you did out of tiredness.

Would I prefer to stick to five working days a week?

I guess we should go on with this. Four working days in a week and the longer weekend makes sense but some people will still not do the most important things they need to do during the weekend no matter how much or how short the weekend may be.

If you are willing to do something with your family or whatever you want to do you can still get it done even though the weekend may be short.
