Should it be the military or paramilitary?

Looking at the topic for the second weekly edition by the Hive Learners, I had to consult Google if Boy's and Girl's Scouts in schools and churches are also paramilitary groups. I saw different answers; some say the scout is a paramilitary while others disagree that it is not. Perhaps it depends on the ideology of each group where one is.

Another person said, it was before, but not anymore because according to him, it was known as the British paramilitary group until it mellowed as it spreads throughout the world.

I used to envy those students in the boys' and girls' scout in school and this made me fall in love with them. Apparently, they are teaching them to be ready for the main military force whichever they want to join—maybe I should agree it is a paramilitary group since it's still illegal and not legalized like being a professional military.

While growing up, there was this military man in the Army force, the way he dresses made me love Soldiers and Army and how they control and are being respected. They are believed to save and protect everyone and their properties, and as they are doing that, they kept discharging their duties by taking up the responsibility they are meant to take through the oath they took as a sacrifice on their part.

Along the line, I was losing interest and I stopped loving them because I heard that they die young and untimely, especially when they go to the battlefield. I used to feel for the families they are leaving behind and no one knows when he or she would die. Even though they are protecting lives, dying just like that shouldn't be for them. What a big sacrifice for their country.

Even if I want to join any force, it would be the paramilitary where it isn't legalized but in preparation for the big work. But know that, I might retreat especially because of the rigorous training they are made to do which is to get them prepared.

They go through stressful and tedious exercises and trainings but one thing I would always have in mind is that I am protecting and saving people and my country. I love the respect in there and I don't mind having that too as I would become a heroine.

Though, such work is risky, I still would always have the faith that God will keep protecting me. Of course, I have seen many military people who get old and are still living. It is only by God's mercy and I won't stop asking for that whenever I am on the battlefield. Protecting people is humanity and sacrificing yourself for your country is something worthwhile you can do, especially when your country does not take it for granted, but are ready to give you the treatment you deserve and be celebrated when it's time.

The only thing I would plan to bring to this force is love for humanity. Respect is one thing to be received from people, but love should be exercised among everyone. I would make sure people see the need to love and care for themselves even when we keep protecting them.

Why should you inconvenience others just to take the honour? It isn't ideal enough. Love should and must be practiced, and this is something I wouldn't fail to bring to my group. Being in unity with love is great than just sacrificing yourself for a country that keeps hating one another. There is no sense in that.

Thanks for your time
