The importance of money can't be quantified in the world we live in and despite how much we need it, I think there are things not worth doing to earn it.
People do say that money is the root of evil but I think human is evil and we just blame money for our bad behavior while finding it.
What I won't do for money
There are so many things I can never do for $1,000,000, it is a long list. I believe that money is an earthly treasure and its value ends here so why do I have to go extreme just to acquire it?
Money is good and important for our survival but it doesn't make sense to do something for the sake of money. I will share some of the things I won't do for any amount even more than $1,000,000.
Prostitution: Some years back, someone I knew from the factory I worked in before brought such an offer to me that she was going to Ghana through her friends. I asked what we wanted to go and do there and she said "hustle".
I asked what kind of hustle and she just stammered and said rubbish. I didn't believe my ears when she said that we will use what we have to get what we want since no one know us there.
I was so angry because I never told her I was looking for a job so I immediately deleted her from my list of friends because I don't want anyone that will put me into trouble.
Begging: Sometimes I see some people begging for money meanwhile their body parts are intact which means they can still work and get paid so I keep wondering why some people just like to reap where they didn't sow.
Anyways I have been struggling to survive ever since I finish up my secondary school and I never for once think of begging for money to survive even when everything was down I never stopped working.
Stealing: One of the things I hate most in my life is that something should get lost where I am because everyone around there at the moment will be a suspect.
I will never steal for money no matter how much the money is or how hard life looks for me, stealing is not an option because if you are caught the outcome won't be funny at all.
Killing: I will never kill for money as well, I can't even kill a cockroach in my house not to talk of killing a human being like me just because of money.
Fraud: This is what is trending among young boys that are so lazy to work hard for their money. Imagine if someone is been duped of all his money, it's just like rendering the people useless.
In conclusion
Money is good and everyone wants to have it meanwhile someone people can go an extra length to have it but I will never do anything bad for money because I believe if I work hard for it, I will enjoy it with peace of mind for the rest of my life.
