Eat like everyday is the weekend-- Vegetables Cutlets!

I love cooking and want to try different different types of dishes with my own twist.
One week before my Husband bought Cutlets from the Bengali shop near my home. Actually the shop is famous for Bengali sweets ,samosas and Cutlets. The cutlets were delicious.

Then Saturday night my husband said to make the Cutlets at home on Sunday. So Today at evening time I made Vegetable Cutlet with beetroots, potatoes, beans, peas and lots of veggies. The taste of the cutlet was good and my family Loved it.

I am sharing the Cutlet recipe with my Hive family...


INGREDIENTS

Beetroot -½cup (grated)
Potato-½cup
Beans-⅓cup
Peas-¼cup
Carrot⅓cup
Greenchilies-2
Turmericpowder-½tspn
Salt-to the taste
Redchili powder-½tson
Breadcrumbs or oats(powdered)
Oil- for shallow fry


METHOD

  1. Grate Beetroot in a bowl.

2.squeeze the juice and keep aside.

3.take the grated squeezed beetroot in a bowl.

4.add greenchilies

5.add boiled peas, potatoes, carrots.

6.now add spices like salt, redchili powder, dry mango powder , chat masala And garam masala.

7.mix all the ingredients well.

8.now add powdered oats or Breadcrumbs

9.combine all well

10.now shape them in tikkis round or cylindrical shape.

11.place the cutlet in oats or breadcrumbs and coat it .

12.place all the cutlets in a plate.

12.now heat oil in a pan and shallow fry them.

13.pan fry the cutlets in batches depending on the size.

14.When one side is golden then flip it and fry the second side with the help of spatula.

15.fry till they are crisp and cooked well. Fry all the cutlets in low meduim flame.

16.now its ready to serve in a plate with Green chutney or any dip of your choice.

If anyone want to bake it in oven then you can. Just brush all the tikkis with oil and bake it for 20 mins in over at 180°.

17.serve it Hot as an evening snacks!!!!
