HOW I EASE OFF FROM STRESS(stress management 101)

Being alive with a sound health is more important than anything else in the world because "Once there is life,there is hope"

We live in a world of full time hustle.. A world where we have to work our asses out just to at least put food on our table and despite how hard we try to hit our targets in the pursuit of life necessities, things get gloomy at times and we are pushed to either give up or continue with the hustle.

Life is so full of stress.. really! I don't think there's anyone who has a different view about this so long as you're an adult, you'll agree with me 100%.
Unfortunately, sometimes we do not pay attention to our body needs even when we feel the stress has accumulated so much in our body. I get it, when we put up with such attitude, it could be we are trying so hard to meet up with deadlines at work, school or even with the chores at home.

I remember when I started working for the first time as a school secretary in a private secondary school. Mehhn! it was really a stressful job for me🥵
I only had time to ease off only during weekends and it seemed like it wasn't enough.. I tried so hard to adapt but I guess it was too heavy for my body to bear. All I should have done was to either request for an assistant or take a little break but I ignored all the positive thoughts that came to my mind for a solution. Until I broke down.. I was so sick for weeks and this left me with no choice than to rest the hard way,taking a break in pains was not interesting at all and I regretted why I never paid attention to my stressed body. Guess what?

While I was away from work due to my ill health, someone was immediately brought to do the job for the times I was away. I learnt my lessons from this incident.
You can only be productive if you are alive and in a sound health (Na who dey alive dey work) Depriving ourselves of rest after working so hard can cause a total breakdown of the body. Our body needs maximum rest after a long day at work, school activities and even after doing some home duties as this would go a long way in helping us become stronger and active for the day ahead.

This is the first thing I usually do whenever I get home after a long stressful day at work..

  • I take a glass of water (room temperature), have a cold bath to cool off a bit and immediately hit my bed to grab a long beauty sleep.
    This goes a long way for me when I'm stressed out and I see it as my first aid treatment each time I'm stressed.

  • I also cope with stress by engaging myself with watching Instagram or TikTok memes. Laughing is a good medicine to the body remember? So whenever I watch a handful of the funny memes that my eyes could come across, I ease off from stress big time.

  • I also love listening to love story podcasts whenever I'm stressed 😅
    I recently discovered this tho I can't really figure out the exact help it has rendered to me on easing off from stress. But I sure know that I giggle, laugh out loud sometimes, enjoy myself and also feel very relaxed whenever I do this.
    I recommend you try this out whenever you want to ease off from stress.. And hey! don't forget to report back after trying it out! 😜

  • I also ease off from stress by listening to soft music such as those sung by Celine Dion and Bryan☺️
    This is usually accompanied with viewing my beautiful pictures in my gallery folder. Admiring that I'm God's work of art can help me ease off from stress you know?

These are the ways I ease off from stress. It has helped me a lot to have a sound health no matter how hard the hustle gets. The tips I shared above has helped me not to look like what I've been through.. I'm so glad I embraced such an ease off routine. You should too!🥰
