Hello friends welcome to my blog today i will be giving answer to the task 3 which is hive keys and security, i will like to appreciate the newbies initiative team for their efforts on us for trying to pass some knowledge that will help us through our time on hive and also i will apologize to my team leader @hopestylist for just doing my task by this time as I've got alot that i can't help but to do that taken some of my time, here is my answer to task three.

In my own opinion i will say i prefer to safe my keys on
Google drive :- I love to safe on my Google drive because i know it is safe for me meanwhile I've been saving there for years
My mailbox :- I created a mail that nobody knows which i can safe any files on so i will prepare mail.
I love to Safe on external drive either USB OTG or flash
Writting it down in somewhere safe
Sending it to someone i trust that i know he or she can be there for me at anytime.
This are the ways i can safe my keys.
Since I'm using peakd frontend i will be showing you how to check your recovery account using peakd.
First step is to login to your peakd then go to your profile where there is settings and three dots ... Click on the three dots .
After clicking on the three dots there will be an expansion where you will see keys and permissions
Click on the keys and permissions then it will take you to another place.
From here you will click recovery account after that it will bring you down for you to see.
That is the little steps on how to check your recovery account
Anyone can make mistakes by loosing he's or her account which is extremely painful those who lost there account can tell so in this case there should be a way to recover our account back so here is a little steps on how to do that.

Here is the first page then you click on recover account that will take you to another place.
You have to fill the step one then move to the other step
You can see send public owner key to trustee, this is why we must be very careful in choosing who we want to use for our recovery account, it have to be someone you can always reach on time someone you trust and so on, if not all this i mentioned above you won't be able to recover your account.
@ocd is my default account recovery in which i know they will always be available and i can always rely on them anytime any day even if it happens i lost my account. And if I'm going to ever choose someone else then it will be no one but @vickoly he's a man of his word and i can entrust him with this further more he his always available which i can have access to him but for now I'm choosing ocd as my trustee.
- Owner key
- Active key
- Posting key
- Memo key
- Master password
Owner key is a use for recovery an account changing of password , and any keys.
Active key this key is base on funds and it is use to transfer funds from one blockchain to another or anything that deals with tokens and it is use to power up likewise power down.
Posting key this key is use for posting anything on hive, it is use for comments on hive , it is also use for voting and to reblog
Memo key this is use for private messages i mean to encrypt any transactions from you to the person you are sending it to that is it is only that person can receive it.
Master password just as the name implies master it means it have alot of functions and can be use to recover all your password if you loose them
In conclusion it is very important to know how all your keys and how to put them safe meanwhile do not put your keys where you will not be able to find it this is why we have several ways to safe them furthermore having someone you can trust is so important because no man is highland of knowledge we don't even know what can happen in the next minutes.
