Present Weather Report - It's Blazing Hot!

I was going to write this post at noon when the sun was burning very hot but I had no chance to be on my phone for long, it would have been a perfect timing with this kind of post but that's anyways. It gets hot at night too, so hot that you can't sleep without feeling like you're in a pool of hot water and sweating like you ran a mile race.

I'm not in my resident state which was getting too hot before I left there, but it's way hotter in the state I'm in right now. So I'll be reporting the present weather from Imo state, a place I've found myself in the last four days which is enough to give this report.

Like I've said in a comment of @nhaji01 post, this heat is becoming too unbearable that I'm failing to understand what it is anymore. Even the mornings that are usually a bit cold before, are becoming hot too. I love my mornings because of the dews and the chilly breeze but nowadays, I don't even get to feel it as much as I did before.

If I'm to explain better how hot the weather is here, it will be like this... The day starts with a morning that feels like it's cold but before dawn, it's getting hot and then the sun comes out to make things worse. You take your bath but while walking down from your bathroom, you begin to question if you really took your bath. In the evenings? It becomes blazing hot! I literally take my bath and lie down to sleep immediately to rest a bit before heat wakes me up again. In short, the heat is beyond my comprehension here.

It's evident that our ecosystem is being tampered with, of course by we the humans. Stating the reasons for our present weather condition is almost quite unnecessary as we all seem to know the main cause but finding it hard to make things better for ourselves.

Well, in a bid to help ourselves and survive this heat until the season is over, I'll suggest a few things I do for myself. Of course, trying to keep our nature clean and safe for ourselves comes first as that would help reduce the intensity of the heat on us.

Other ways which I am putting more work into are:

  • Take baths regularly.
  • Drink water as much as possible regularly.
  • Putting on light wears and having comfortable hairstyles.
  • Avoiding stress that can be avoided (being in camp has made that very difficult though).
  • Prepare my dinner early.

Preparing dinner early is one trick dad taught me. You'll get to have your meals in early and also get the heat away to some extent before bed time. Taking your bath an hour or more after dinner then going to bed, you'll feel a lot better to have a good night rest not minding much of the heat.

I'm still hoping for the rain that will keep the whole night cool as I've heard that some places in my country are having their first rain already. I can bet a lot of people around me would scream "Rain!!!" like they scream "NEPA!!!" when the lights come on 😅
