As a requirement for the first task in the Newbie Initiative program, I would like to share my goals for the next 3 months(the duration of the program). Everything will be explained in detail in accordance to my current level on the chain and the desired outcome I hope to achieve by completing the various tasks that will be given to us by the organizers of the program. My aims of achievement will be in the regards of hive power, followers, comments and engagements, and in addition hive reputation.
FOLLOWERS GOAL
At the moment, my number of followers sits at 23 and by the end of this program it is expected that it increases further to 100 followers on hive.
HIVE POWER GOALS
My current HP balance at the time of publishing this post is 27.894 HP. I will like for this to have accumulated to at least 500 HP by the end of this program.
COMMENTS & ENGAGEMENT GOALS
I really do not have parameters to show my current comments and engagement level on the chain. This is probably because I don’t know how to check for it. But from a manual overview of my activities on the chain I can confidently say that I make about 10+ quality comments, and about 2 to 5 reblogs every single day on the chain. I hope to do more by doubling up the engagement rates on the chain because I can personally see how far this activity has been of help since I joined the hive chain.
HIVE REPUTATION
In addition to the above goals, I will like my reputation to have also increased further to 65 from my current level (55.99).
HOW I PLAN TO ACHIEVE THESE GOALS
With the little knowledge I have and what I have learnt so far from navigating the platform I believe all these goals are possible through the following methods;
For the duration of the program I want to focus more on engaging on the blog posts published by my fellow newbies on the chain. If I do this consistently they will reciprocate my actions by checking out my blog as well as my profile too. Reason is because I feel it's easier to win their interest in my activities than expecting the big guys to come my way.
I can also achieve my engagements and comments goals of 20+ comments, 20+ upvotes and 10 reblogs by increasing the time I spend daily on the chain. It will give me more opportunity to gain more knowledge from other people's work.
While my hive reputation goal will also be achieved by engagement more and putting more effort into publishing quality posts on my blog.
CHALLENGES I MAY FACE IN THE PROCESS
As humans, it is a normal thing and always expected to face some road blocks in any of our endeavours. However, what I feel will be a challenge for me in achieving this goals is not putting as much effort as required to attain this desired feat of mine on hive. Another thing is not having enough time to face my hustle here so that I may explore the chain for as long as possible with other people and other like minds. This might be as a result of other primary assignment I've got outside of here.
I know we all have our various goals and I assume that everyone (including myself) have our dreams of aiming high on the chain. That high level rank may seem difficult but there is nothing you aim under the sky that is not attainable. Provided you put in all the required efforts that are necessary to get there. So I do my thing, put in my best efforts and the universe will do the rest of her work in giving back my rewards by the energy transferred accordingly.
I believe that by doing all of these things, my hive goals can come true and become a reality and not just a mere post. Even if this does not happen but I solely stick to this plan, I would be closer to achieving these goals by the end of this program.
