My Favorite Songs

image.png

Hello, everyone!!!
It's time for another edition of the hive learners' weekly prompt, and today I'll be discussing three of my favorite pieces of music. Before I go any further, I'd like to clarify something. Actually, I'll be talking about three pieces of music that I love, and I honestly don't have a preference. Music has the ability to speak to our souls, and most of the time, our mood dictates the type of music we should listen to at any given time. This theme appears to be extremely straightforward, but it's actually quite challenging for me because I don't listen to a lot of music.

Anyway, let's hit the road with the theme of the edition

There are those songs that we can never get tired of listening to. Even when years have passed, we still remember the lyrics and sing along as if they were just released yesterday. Tell us about three songs you love the most, who sang them, and why you enjoy them so much.

The flaming Lips _ Do you realize.
Do you realize was released in 2002 as part of the Flaming Lips' tenth album. The song is about realizing that life is limited and that individuals should make the most of it by spending time with loved ones and doing things they enjoy.

This song is a powerful reminder of how important it is to appreciate every moment we have in this world. We live as if we'll ever get out of this life alive most of the time, yet meaningful songs like this remind us that life is only a brief adventure. According to the song, you have the most beautiful face, yet it's difficult to keep a good thing going. In fact, despite the fact that this song may cause tears, those tears are oftentimes required.

Make everyone around you know how quickly life passes. Show as much love as you can since this is your one and only chance. This song helps you understand that love is the only thing that matters right now. Every second of your life is a gift, therefore love others without reservation.

Lyrics

Passenger_Let Her Go
We often refuse to appreciate the people in our lives, believing that the grass is always greener on the other side. Let her go, Passenger is someone's remorse for not appreciating what they had. To be honest, we tend to recognize the importance of people when they are no longer in our life, which is a typical occurrence in today's world. When we realize our error, we try to find anything we can do to get them back but most of the time, it’s always too late. This type of music is enjoyable to listen

We hear the phrase "you don't know what you have until it's gone" almost every day of our life, yet we don't seem to care until it's too late. This instills in us the importance of individuals in our lives. Everyone is important in their own way. I have a special love for this song and you can join me and check it out. It’s truly worth it

Lyrics

If Love is a crime_Tuface Idibia
If love is a crime is a song by Nigerian musician Tuface Idibia. The song tries to make us understand that love is no crime. Love is truly a beautiful thing to experience and when we find one, just as 2baba “keep the fire burn”. This song also goes further to speak about keeping ourselves for the right person.

Lyrics

Why do I like this song?
Two notable things I love about this song is Love and value. The first song, that’s “the flaming lips” is a deep reflection on how finite the world is and the only way to make much out of it is to live by love.
The second and third, “let her go & If love is a crime” speaks of love and value which is what most of us lack. In Nigerian tongue “dem say na see finish na em turn good morning to how far”. We need to value people around us, not regret when they are gone.
