I'm sure he was doing other tricks of the trade with SteemIt, but hasn't made me privy to that information yet. :) It was during this observation of him that I saw Steemit for what it really was: # A REVOLUTION IN SOCIAL MEDIA AND # A PART OF THE REVOLUTION THAT IS CYRPTO ![BLUER-blue-strip-3.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmX3yMRtarqVBKDztpj5vnbaueitfvdgmAsEQEvA8Lygvr/BLUER-blue-strip-3.jpg) Now, as I begin to close out 2017 and get prepared for 2018, I find myself reflecting on this past year's events in general, and the last 9 months on SteemIt in particular. ## Just yesterday, ***the same day I reached 1000 followers,*** I was able to participate in the Crypto Revolution for the first time by trading Steem for a fraction of a Bitcoin on @blocktrades!
