Hola que tal mis queridos amigos hivers, quizá algunos se preguntarán porque titulé mi post de esta forma; pues tiene una muy fuerte y bonita razón; hace más de 50 años atrás mi abuela llamada Encarnación empezó hacer las primeras cocadas en la Isla; la receta venía de tierra firme cuando una amiga se la mostró; y fue el “bum” para aquella época, ya que prácticamente nadie en la isla conocía esta combinación que tenía el agua de coco con la pulpa del coco al ser licuados. Al pasar los años mi abuela perfeccionó su estilo de hacer las cocadas, y cuando llego el turismo a la isla pues se hizo conocer con su tan maravilloso emprendimiento, además vivía cerca de la playa y esa fue una de las razones por las que se hizo notar. Cada verano venían turistas de otros países y siempre pasaban a tomar estas ricas cocadas que mi abuelita preparaba; siempre la alagaban por tan rico sabor que tenía esta bebida tan codiciada y una de las frases que mas decían era “La mejor cocada de Margarita” y le contaban a mi abuela que la cocada era conocida también como “El elixir de la juventud” que esta bebida hacia que las personas permanecieran jóvenes durante mucho más tiempo, ya que da un efecto en la piel haciéndola lucir tersa y suave, esos comentarios le hacía feliz a mi abuelita, puedo recordar su expresión en el rostro, su satisfacción no tenía precio. Y personalmente pienso que es cierto porque mi abuela hasta el sol de hoy con 85 años de edad se torna fuerte y cada mañana se levanta para ir a darse un baño a la playa, le gusta sumergirse debajo de las olas y de regreso toma de un árbol un puñado de uvas de playa que por cierto son deliciosas; de allí mi abuela queda fresca y renovada para un nuevo día, mi madre aprendió las técnicas de mi abuela para hacer tan ricas cocadas; y pues claro no puedo faltar yo en conocer la mejor manera de hacer cocadas. Y es así queridos hivers como decidí hacer este significativo post que eh querido compartir con ustedes.

And personally I think it is true because my grandmother until the sun of today with 85 years of age becomes strong and every morning she gets up to go to take a bath at the beach, she likes to submerge under the waves and back she takes a drink. **Ingredientes:** 3 Cocos. Preferiblemente de pulpa suave, es decir ni tan dura ni tan floja. Azúcar al gusto Hielo (opcional)

**Ingredients:** 3 Coconuts. Preferably soft pulp, that is to say neither so hard nor so soft . Sugar to taste Ice (optional)

3 Luego tomamos otro coco, le cortamos la base de manera que pueda mantenerse estable en cualquier superficie.

4 Seguidamente le extraemos el agua y la colocamos en la licuadora. 5 Una vez vertidos la pulpa y el agua en la licuadora, licuamos solo esto para que logremos esa crema homogénea y tersa.

6 Luego colocamos un poco de azúcar y hielo al gusto. 7 En este caso quise utilizar un recipiente natural para colocar nuestra deliciosa cocada, como lo es el mismo coco al que le hicimos la base anteriormente.
