Some months back, I was telling some group of people that if I have the chance to go back to school again, I won't be attending class with exercise books and they all marveled. This is to tell you how I've been so acquainted with my phone that it does almost everythin for me.

When I was in third year in school, I never fancied going to school with school bag, not to talk of carrying plenty exercise books. I made used of little leaves of exercise notebooks and they all served me well with my jottings. After dressing for class, I'd just pick the 20 leaves exercise book and move as if I'm going to a friend's housešŸ˜‚.
Oh yeah, I don't fancy hard copy books especially when it's heavy or voluminous.

That doesn't mean that I haven't read or used hard copy books before, I've read a lot of them but with the advancement of the world, it's much more preferable to me to easily get along with an Ebook to a Paperbook and the following are some of my reasons:

Easy Access

It's just the way I love downloading movies on my phone to watch at my convenience, that's how I like getting my books on my phone. I can easily access a particular book to read when I'm bored and not at home...I don't need to get home before reading books.

I think this should be one of the biggest advantage of ebooks, with just a phone, any book can be accessed at anytime and anywhere. Even when the book is hard to find in bookstores, it can be easily gotten via Google search and get it downloaded.

I remember the days we were flogged in secondary school for not buying a particular novel. I wish it's this era, I wouldn't have bought the hard copy, I would have easily downloaded the soft copy on my phone to read at my convenience. But what can we say? We were in darkness in those days.

Reading is comfortable and at convenience

You'll agree with me that reading hardcopy books at night requires light but with soft copy notes on phone, I don't need to struggle with light because I have lights on my phone already.
Also, there are some paper books that are voluminous like the Oxford Learners Dictionary, one need to put it in a good position to be able to read and sometimes it sends pain to the neck via too much twisting, but with ebooks, it's very easy to read no matter how voluminous the book may be.

Some years back, I and my book warm boss were discussing about reading of books and I made mention to him that I it's rare for me to buy a hard copy book these days, that I prefer to get it on my phone for free or at a very cheaper rate and he objected, asking me how do I cope in reading books on phone. To him, it doesn't just go well with him because he won't concentrate. That's where the individual difference comes in..."one man's food is another man's poison"

Thanks for readingšŸ„°
