Newbies Task2

The Journey of an Amateur on Hive to a Specialist:

(Designed made by me on canva)

Am glad with the impactful knowledge on the hive world which am be expose to by my selfless tutors @nkemakonam89, @eunice9200, @startstrings01.
As a babe on the hive world, not knowing your left or right in the system makes life so frustrating. You will be hearing different things like:The communities to joined and make your post, the right tags and the likes make one look strander to a point i thought i could not long cope in this ecosystem. But thanks to my mentor @hivedeb who introduced me to the hive world and has not give up on me always encouraging me to push forward, because i can ask plenty questions e🤩.
And to my selfless tutors as mentioned above thank you for your sacrifice, if not some people like us here could have run away from the ecosystem already🤣.

And here comes the intricated lessons for the week Newbabies Task 2:

How is hive different from other social media platforms like web 2.

To talk of the difference between hive and other social media.
We have to first understand the different actives the goes on the different social media platform and probably their significant to the user:
Like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the likes are all example of other social platform people are involved. They use the platform to connect with friends, family and other people of the different part of the world, and in the midst of these interaction they paid burning their data, time and resources to used those social platform without a gaining any return unlike hive.Hive world is a friendly user social platform where they user are paid for, just using the platform. So the user are not just use by the web owner, rather the both partner are mutually benefited.

Meaning of the different terminologies:
a. Plagiarism
b. Vote begging
C. Post recycling.
Plagiarism:In a simple and Lyman language, simply mean an author picking another author's content and published it as his/her own content without recognizing the original author. This usually happened when a different author saw another's author content that's very rich and people (reader) also affirmed to how enriching the content is, the other author who knows he/she cannot make a presentable content, as such he/she will want to claim the originality of that content as his/her own content. They therefore go about picking such content, published them and credit it to themselves as the original author.
Vote begging: It an act where people tags plenty others on their post, and mostly people whom they don't even know or have not any mutual friendship with, with the aim they may upvote their contents.
Post recycling: This is a condition or a situation whereby an author run short of ideas to make publication and maybe he/she has a similar topic for publication, the author will then decide using his/her former publication instead of making or writing a new content for the publication.
Relevant and Abusive use of tags and it consequences:
In the hive world the important of tags can never be overemphasis:The relevant or the significant or the important rightful use of tags enable one's content to be seen by such community.
For example, we have communities like hive learners, hive Ghana, hive Naija and many more with their unique activities in each community. Let's assume you pick a topic on hive naija but then went and tag hive learners. You see, the tendency that many will see your content and upvote it can be very low and not because your content is very poor but because the content is published in a community whose interest is not the same with your content and the effect is that your content will not be seen be many and your content may not have many upvote.
Now the abusive use of tags is the part of what i earlier explained as vote begging and instead of your content to be upvote it will rather be downvote since many hiver don't really like it.Just imagined been tag in several contents by hiver whom you don't, it looks indeed so disgustful abi?.Yes.

Example of general tags:
Cent,
Proofofbrain,
airhawk,
Pimp,
Vyb,

Important use of Markdown.

Markdown is simply some coding part we use in writing our contents, making them(like the Heading, Text, links, images) more presentable to other readers.
Some of which
as been taught by tutors earlier mentioned include:

Using pf hashtag
#Heading 1
##Heading 2
###Heading 3
####Heading 4
#####Heading 5
######Heading 6.
To try using the above in your work, just give a space and your heading is bold as seen below:

Heading 1

Heading 2

Heading 3

Heading 4

Heading 5
Heading 6

Use of asterisk to italicized texts:

  • italicize *
    ** bold*
    *** italicize bold***
To activate the above, don't give any space as show below:
    Italicized
    Bold
    italicized Bold

Making a line for a paragraph instead of giving paragraph:

Using (3 asterisk in row, or 3 dash, or long single dash), as shown below:

These are just but few out of many i have been taught.
