I will not just be great; I will be a strong pillar to reckon with!!!

I can beat my chest and say I was raised through the hardest of times. I am born into a polygamous family (and you should know the responsibilities would be much for the parents to satisfy as much as possible, all the children) and we all were subjected to difficult situations.
Personally, I grew up having to carry logs of firewood from a farm to our place of residence. It was a norm for me to be sent out for inability to pay school fees in my primary school. It was amazing still that in the same primary school, I became the ‘headboy’. My parents went an extra mile to get me a private lesson teacher and I ended up being the second position in common entrance examination in the whole of Kwara State (year 2002). Yet, I was among the five selected students in Kwara State to attend the Federal Government Academy Suleja (center for the Gifted and Talented) and the high school was fully funded.
Today, I am a graduate of Medicine and Surgery (2016) and of course, I proud Hivian 🥰. I have worked with private hospitals, state hospitals and now, a staff of National Health Insurance Health Authority here in Nigeria where I am opportune to better influence service delivery by hospitals to patients.
Back in the University years, I contested and became the deputy senate president of the students union despite being a medical student. It was quite challenging but I learnt to combine several responsibilities and still succeed.
I can say boldly I rose from grass to grace and, I have been a survivor. Perhaps someday, I would be in a position maybe as a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to impart and impact more lives positively. My zeal to succeed in life and my passion to touch lives positively are indices to show that I will not just be great; I will be a strong pillar to reckon with.
