I want to use this medium to thank all the Splinterlands team for awesome innovations going on since inception. Splinterlands keeps on improving and developing since it was established.
The management keeps on bringing ideas that benefited the game; not only the game but also everyone that is in the game. It is a whole lot of process.
I saw X-content weeks ago, and I participated. Luckily I was, I won two chaos legion packs. That was incredible!

I want to also thank @bdvoter for curating my posts. I know my posts are not the best; and that is the reason I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I find it difficult not to write a Splinterlands post every week; and the major factor is that I don't like missing @bdvoter. This is the reason I hardly miss Splinterlands posts.
Thank you all @bdvoter curators, God will continue to protect and uplift you in any area of your endeavors. I am really really happy. You make me happy all the time. I love you all.

Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Theme: Tips for Beginners
When I saw this Splinterlands contest, I thought it was only for beginners. While I was reading different posts from different authors, I learned many things from those posts. I read the @mecurial9 post. I love it so much. You need to read his post. I never knew that the land release was delayed till November 28. He mentioned that, "one should be very active in Splinterlands".
Therefore, everyone should be very active in Splinterlands discord channel.
Battle Mage Secrets Weekly challenge: Unprotected
The Battle Mage Secrets Weekly challenge for this week is awesome. One of the battles I could vividly remember was a player that used a monster. It was like the player knew I would use monsters with sneak ability; he used monsters with dodge ability as the last monster.
By the time the battle ended, I could not eliminate the monster in the last position, and that was how I did not eliminate a single of his monsters. It was one of the worst battles.
Battle Rulesets
What Doesn't Kill You: All monsters have the enrage ability.
Unprotected: Monsters do not have any armor and do not get armor from abilities or summoner buffs.

🔥🔥Monsters Arrangements🔥🔥
Frozen Soldier
Splinter: Water
Level: 2⭐⭐
Speed: 2
Ability: Void and Phase
Health: 3
Attack: Melee
Mana: 6
Since it was unprotected, most players used melee monsters; that was the reason I used Frozen Soldier. The purpose of Frozen Soldier was to reduce melee and range damage. 70 percent of players I have been paired with used melee monsters. This was what prompted me to use frozen Soldier.
I wasn't expecting my opponent to use immortalis- a summoner with void, shatter abilities. I was expecting him to use opportunity monsters since monsters do not have armor.
Djinn Oshannus
Splinter: Water
Level: 2⭐⭐
Speed: 5
Ability: Void and Phase
Health: 10
Attack: Magic
Mana: 8
Djinn Oshannus was very important in this battle; the moment I saw immortalis, I knew it was going to be hard to emerge victorious. Immortalis reduces the health of all my monsters, and reduces the damage done by magic monsters. The funniest thing was that my opponent used Mushroom Seer to reduce all my magic attacks and immortalis to reduce the damage.
I was shocked when I saw his lineup; if I mistakenly used magic monsters, I would have been defeated😌😌😌😌.
Kulu Mastermind
Splinter: Water
Level: 1⭐
Speed: 4
Ability: Weapons training and Opportunity
Health: 8
Attack: Melee
Mana: 9
This is one of my best monsters. I love to use this kind of monster in an unprotected Ruleset. Since the armor is not there, opportunity monsters attack monsters with the smallest health. This was the reason both opportunity monsters I used attacked monsters with the smallest health.
Well! If a taunt ability monster, Kulu Mastermind and Deeplurker would have attacked such a monster. That is the only exception for opportunity monsters not to attack monsters with the smallest health.
Nerissa Tridawn
Splinter: Water
Level: 2⭐⭐
Speed: 2
Ability: None
Health: 10
Attack: Magic
Mana: 9
One thing I love about Nerissa Tridawn was the magic attack. Four magic attacks was exceptional; and that was the reason I'm in love with Nerissa Tridawn. The four magic attacks give me joy to use it.
Deeplurker
Splinter: Water
Level: 4 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐⭐
Speed: 3
Ability: opportunity
Health: 6
Attack: Melee
Mana: 6
I knew 🤣😉🤣 this kind of monster is good in this kind of rule. I was able to achieve my purpose within the twinkle of an eye. Deeplurker does not allow Mushroom Seer to breath, it doesn't allow the monster to attack. It was eliminated in the battle without attacking.
That was how the magic attack of Nerissa Tridawn and Djinn Oshannus was restored.
Venari Marksrat
Splinter: Neutral
Level: 2⭐⭐
Speed: 1
Ability: Martyr
Health: 3
Attack: Range
Mana: 3
Just like the way I arranged my monsters, I was expecting my opponent to use opportunity monsters or sneak monsters. That was the reason I used Venari Marksrat. When Venari Marksrat is eliminated, it increases the stats of adjacent monsters. That was the reason I was placed as the last monster so that the Deeplurker stats could increase.
Unfortunately, my opponent neither used opportunity monsters nor sneak monsters.
Round 1
The battle was too fast ⏩⏩⏩, like a video that was fast forwarded. The opponent Venari Marksrat which was used in first position was eliminated.
My opponent used Marksrat as a bait for me: he used it to increase the stats of Prismatic Energy.
Mushroom Seer also was eliminated in just one attack; and my magic monsters regained their magic abilities. Frozen Soldier was eliminated in round one of the battle.
Therefore, at the end of round one, three monsters were eliminated.
Round 2
Before round one ended, the opponent monster (prismatic energy) was brutally damaged. Despite the Goblin Psychic healing ability, prismatic energy could not survive the second round. It was the only monster that was eliminated in the second round.
Round 3
Goblin Psychic was eliminated. There was no way Kron the Unding could receive extra health. Kron the Unding and Venari Knifer were left in the battle.
Venari Knifer could not attack in his position because it is a melee monster. Such a monster could not attack in this kind of battle except it leads the attack.
Round 4
Because of the healing ability of Kron the Unding, it was able to reach round 4.
We all the strength of Kron the Unding; if you want to know the strength, use it with Scarred llama mage🤣🤣🤣🤣. Make sure to use Kron the Unding in the last position. You will realize why it was given Kron the Unding.
Round 5
This was the last round. The enrage ability made the melee of Venari knifer to increase from three to five and speed from 5 to 8.
Finally, it was eliminated.
In conclusion, I was left with 5 monsters. Only a monster was eliminated in my lineup.
Therefore, one of the important factors of unprotected rule was the speed. The higher the speed, the faster it attacks and the more chances you have to win the battle. This is the reason, using a monster with high speed is beneficial to this type of rule.
