Everyone enjoys compliment no matter the gender but I believe ladies like it the most.😂
We like to be appreciated for our modest effort.
Appreciation and positive compliment help us perform even better because we want more of that. That doesn't imply if we are doing excellent and haven't received nice praise we should stop. No, keep doing it and one day it will come out to your benefit.
I can recall the moment when my mother travelled for months and returned. It was only myself, my dad, and my Junior brother. It was incredibly hard for me since I was the one handling the house duties and cooking at home.
When she returned last month she was really satisfied with me and how I kept the house tidy and managed. It wasn't my best but the praise made me make an extra effort at home and pleased at least she appreciated it. It was hard for her to do so.
Despite that one of my nicest compliment was one I received from a stranger. It is my best since I did it out of love and didn't repent it at least someone appreciated me
Early this year as I was heading to my graphics lessons, as I was walking down I observed a little child crying beside the road. The first time I passed but my spirit couldn't allow me. The world is now a terrible place and I had many bad thoughts like
What if the kid was sent?
What if she was utilized as a tool of diversion to swindle me?
But I couldn't simply pass my conscience couldn't allow me.
So I approached her and asked her why she was weeping, she told me that she lost her transport and she can't go home because nobody would believe her and there was no money to go home. I was still terrified but determined to assist her. I wasn't having any money with me so I withdrew and handed her the money.
My conscience couldn't yet let me leave and I decided to follow her home to plead on her behalf and explain everything.
When I arrived at her home I spotted her aunty. She stated they had been looking for her and were already worried and wanted to even go to the police.
They thank me and appreciate me. They even asked me to take my money i spent and gave me meals that day which I rejected. I simply observed a girl who was weeping and chose to assist and didn't seek any Favour in return.
It was quite unusual to see individuals who can assist in this selfish world
Her aunt took my contact and from time to time till date she calls to check up on me and occasionally give me money even at school.
It's good to help people and let the world believe good people still exist because of your action.
