Creative Sunday; I made a little princess gown

Happy Sunday! Hivers, hope you are all having a great day where ever you are, I am too,

It's another creative Sunday in the hive learners community, and I will be sharing with us the process of how I made this beautiful little princess dress, one of my favorite dresses to make, are the ones for little princesses, it's easy to make, makes me creative in every new project and because they always look adorable in little princesses. As a fashion designer myself, making this dress is less costly compared to buying ready-made ones from the market and I can design it my preference.

Without further ado, let's get right into the process.

The materials used are
Satin fabric
Lace fabric
Matching thread
Trimmings
Button
Net
Hard net

1 First, I draft my upper bodice pattern for both front and back, which are duplicated with the lace fabric.

2 I cut out my cup puff sleeve pattern

3 I joined the patterns together, also turning it with the lining part

4 I won't be using zip for the upper part, instead buttons, so I created loops

5 sewed the loops to the dress

6 next I added the trimmings to the waist part

7 I cut out the net in 4 layers using my required length

8 making sure to gather the net to the waist measurement

9 I cut out two flares using the waist measurement as the radius, the longer flare would be base for the blue net, while the shorter will be used as lining and base for the hard net

10, I joined all together, attaching a bow at the front, and at the back, head bow too, I also fixed the buttons for the loop

The little princess dress is ready.
Adorable, isn't it?
