Hello! Welcome to my blog. This is task 6 in the newbies initiative, it is all about hive effeciency tools. I am doing this task with my partner @lizizoo.

We had our meeting last week Sunday, where @olujay explained some of the hive efficiency tools to us and as a result of that some questions were tended to us in order to know how well we understood all that he taught us.

Let's look at these questions...

Question 1: Explain why it is important for you to track and monitor your progress on hive.

Just like every other investment you make, it is very important to track and monitor your progress in order for you to know how well you are doing. Sometimes you might be lacking behind without knowing it but if you are always tracking and monitoring your investment you would discover an area where you need to do better in and start doing better.

Question 2: Find your account on "hivebuzz" and show a screenshot of your profile. Hence explain what your marine character means and what the six digits number about you means.

My marine character is red fish. The six digits shows the commitment level of my account to the hive ecosystem which the red fish represents. The red fish can also mean a beginners level.

Question 3: Find the lazy panda trail and follow it. Customize the trail according to weight, method, and wait time as desired. Then enable the trail if you really want to be part of it. Show screenshot.

Using hive.vote, go to your chrome and search for hive.vote and scroll down to login.

What this means is that...

ā€¢ My effective hp is 445.33 which is currently functioning.

ā€¢ Author's reward is the rewards I get from publishing a post.

ā€¢ Curation reward is reward I received from commenting and upvoting other writers post.

In the last 7days I haven't really been active. These tells me how active my account has been.

Question 5: Configure and setup F.R.I.D.A.Y to give you notifications. Provide a step by step explanation with screenshots.

I know must of you don't know what F.R.I.D.A.Y is, it is a bit on discord that gives notifications about your hive account and activities on discord such as comments, mention, upvotes e.t.c.

To configure and setup F.R.I.D.A.Y, I will be using the link provided by @olujay during our meeting on discord.
