MY BIG SISTER

I have always wished to have Elder sisters but life made me the first daughter of my parents. Going through many things in life I have learnt to accept what life brings, be happy with it and manage it the best way I can.

Greetings everyone and welcome to my blog. its a New month, New week and the first topic for the week, TITLE: SIBLINGS
We can make so many wishes but think of how those wishes would come to pass.

An Elder sister in my life, she would serve as a role model for us the younger ones, She can inspire and guild us through our own experiences and achievements, setting a positive example to follow.
Support and guidance, Elder sisters are typically there to provide emotional support, guidance, and advice to their younger siblings. They can offer a listening ear, lend a helping hand, and provide a sense of comfort and understanding.

Mentorship: Having an Elder sister as a mentor with experience can help their siblings with academic pursuits, career choices, personal development, and life skills.

Protector: Elder sisters often look out for the well-being and safety of their younger siblings. They may stand up for their siblings, and offer a sense of security within the family.

Friendship and companionship: Although am not a friend to my younger sisters but I provide a sense of friendship and companionship to them. So they have someone to talk to, share experiences with, and create lasting memories together.
Having an elder sister to show me support, love, and concern is my wish. Although I get much love from my brothers and younger sister but is different with a girl.
"And how were you able to get past it?"
Appreciate other family relationships:Growing up, I had bigger cousins and family friends who stood as big sisters for me and I got so much love and care from them. As a mother, it's not easy to get pregnant, give birth and care for a child. My son wants a baby brother so badly like I wanted an elder sister but we take what life gives to us. Each family member can bring their unique love and support into your life.

Look for mentors: I needed someone to stand as a role models outside my immediate family who can offer guidance and support. This could be a teacher, coach, mentor, or someone around my everyday work, who has experience in an area am interested in to provide valuable advice.

Engage in self-discovery and personal growth: I took the opportunity to explore my interests, talents, and passions. Engaging in activities that I enjoy helps me build self-confidence.

Close relationships with siblings: As the first daughter of my father, I took the role to offer my siblings support, guidance, and care. I try to be a positive influence in their lives, to provide them with love and concern in all they do.
I know we can all be a positive influence to someone who needs a BIG SISTER OR A BIG BROTHER.
