One thing I notice about myself is that just looking at you once doing something can make me do the same thing even though not perfectly. If I can get a picture of how it was done in my head then I can bring it to real life not as perfect as the professionals but I will surely do a good job.
I started with fixing little electric work around my house like lamp holders, wall socket, extension boxes, and other minor issues that have to do with electrical work. There was one time I fixed our pumping machine at home even if it took me hours before I could figure out the problem but I did fix it and it saved the family some thousands of Naira.
I'm a professional painter without learning it, I'm not saying just painting the house, I can make designs too and also put wallpaper on the wall, I haven't tried those 3d wallpaper but those common ones, I can fix perfectly. I have actually worked for one or two shops and the reason why I can't go further into that and make it my occupation is that I'm scared of height.
The one that amazes me the most and still hurts me is that I didn't push my passion for phone repair, it started when I was in my early teenage days. I was using a java phone, Nokia brand.
The phone case is naturally bad it doesn't last and you can't find half of the case so you need to buy the complete case whenever it gets damaged. I used the phone for two years if I am not mistaken and that was the only problem I have with the phone, the case naturally gets damaged like every 3 months.
After spending money to fix it the first time, I took money and got myself the tools needed to fix the phone the second time it happened and that was how it all started.
I started fixing minor problems with phones and not just mine own.
At first, it was going smoothly until I decided to use the soldering iron to fix a blackberry phone then, it was something that got to deal with the IC of the phone. I forgot how delicate those tiny stuff can be and in the process, I damaged the phone network, I had to pay someone to help me fix it because the phone wasn't mine.
That didn't teach me any lesson, I decide to try again on another phone and I damaged the backlight of the phone which that one was unable to unless I buy a new screen.
I was running at more losses than gain which is normal because I didn't learn it professionally but I also made some cool cash. These days I don't go fix my phone outside again, if my phone has an issue I do it myself.
