In a battle, playing defense only can even get you killed faster because the battle is over once the opponent is able to penetrate your line up....
The best way to win is always to go all in, do not waver as that could ruin everything....
If you want to attack, go with full force and also there are some factors that aids you in your attack...
Speed: This is one of the most important ability in splinterlands, it gives you the chance to attack first and attacking first gives you an edge of winning over your enemy...
Power: Using monsters with high power attack is another advantage over your opponent which can helps in ending the battle within a short time....
Luck: Some might disagree with me on this but luck really matters too, due to the misses that may happen during attack, the battle i am about to display below is about speed + power and luck...
It was a three battle rule set of
unprotected monsters: All the monsters do not gain any armor and those with armor also lose it....
Target practice: All the range and magic attack monsters have the snipe ability...
Stampede: The trampled ability can be triggered multiple times if the monster trampled on is killed..
Based on the rule set and the splinter available, i know what i was going to use but i need to make sure my line up is well set to be able to achieve victory and i plan to utilize the trample ability to the max...
I was not surprised to see the opponent come up with the same summoner as me, we need speed to win....
The difference in our line up was that he played a defensive game with me...
He used coeurl lurker a taunt monster with the dodge ability and powered it up with jacek speed and monsters with the swift ability that enhance its speed... hoping for my monsters to miss...
Meanwhile i also came with all the swift monsters i can find and used magnor as my tank, i was not hoping for a miss, my plan was to attack first and terminate all his monsters in one strike with my magnor...
It works perfectly! The stampede was utilized to the max by my magnor and he cleared the opponent monsters in one swoop...
