From Chalkboards to Screens: The Digitalization of Education

Well, things are growing very fast around us and technology is one of them. We are seeing around us how everything is becoming more advanced day by day, especially in terms of technology, you can see many things are changing. Along with technology, the education system is also growing very fast. If you look at the last 10 years till now, you will feel a lot of difference and after Covid, things have changed very fast. Especially the education system, which used to be mostly offline, has now become completely (mostly) online and we all have become accustomed to it. This is both right and wrong in many months, earlier also there used to be online courses and online classes but after the lockdown, things have changed very fast and people have become accustomed to all these things.

Still, offline classes have not been completely removed but the dependence on online has increased such as online classes, online courses being sold and many more things. If I talk about when I used to study, around 2019 I finished my final studies. During that year, I also prepared for government exams but I was not successful and you can say that I did not work hard enough. I regret it but believe me, it would be wrong to say that so many things were not available at that time, because even then there were a lot of things available. To tell you the truth, I did not have much interest in studies, I was only an average student. If I talk about 2010 or 2012, then the technology had not developed so much, offline classes were used more, then YouTube was never so popular, yes there was the internet but it was also not used that much because at that time there were not as many smartphones were not available. Nor did everyone know how to use the internet, earlier everything was not as easy as it is now.

A lot of things have changed in just about 10-12 years. Earlier, if someone used the internet, we used to consider it a big deal, but now everyone knows how to use the internet and nowadays children have become much smarter, it seems as if they are learning everything by heart. Some have come. Earlier everything used to be offline but gradually as time progressed, most of the things have become online and this is also a good thing in a way because it saves a lot of time and money.

What are the benefits of having online classes?

One is that you can explore many things sitting in one place. You do not need to go here and there to attend a class, you can attend classes sitting at home, for this you do not even have to get ready and go anywhere, the benefit of this is that you can save a lot of money. This seems to me to be the best benefit of it and you can take knowledge from many different teachers sitting at home
simultaneously. If you don't like any teacher then you can go to another place and explore other platforms. First, this option used to not be available because earlier there was very limited availability of teachers but it is not like that now a lot has changed and I like it very much. I think that if such a thing had happened maybe 10-15 years ago then maybe it would have happened now. And it would have been good for me and for all those who were of that time.

This is the only thing that I find very important that was not available to them at that time and it is available to you and it is a very good thing that all these things are available to the current students. With technology, things become easier for us and it also becomes easier to understand things. Now there are smart classes in schools and colleges that were not there earlier, it makes a lot of difference. This does not happen, if you take things practically then you understand things better and more quickly.
