I like how you started with the Mothers in the beginning. Mothers do a lot of hard work that goes unappreciated because it's "normal" to us.

I think you should clarify that "heaven is placed under her feet" is a teaching from the Hadith. You wrote it as if you're assuming the reader only knows this.

I like the part where you talked about your childhood. I think it's understandable your mother won't cook new food for you before the Iftar, even if a child couldn't understand at the time. My mother also didn't cook for us as children, but we also tried to fast a day or two of the month as soon as we got old enough to handle that. It was always "How long can you last before asking Mom for food, challenge." Good times~

True words. To me, the hardest part isn't even the hunger or the thirst. It's keeping me from doing Sins being spiritually minded. I pray Allah makes it easy for me and you.
