The benefits of the red distance can be used as medicine, such as the red distance leaves, the leaves can be boiled and the water can cure skin diseases such as scabies by rubbing the boiled water on the leaves.
Besides being used as medicine, the red jatropha is an ornamental plant in the yard of the house, because of its red leaves and unique fruit.
