Mimicry
Mimicry is an ability possessed by certain living beings to resemble others with which they have no relationship, and the environment, to obtain some functional advantage.
In humans, mimicry is the imitation or adoption of behaviors similar to those of other individuals or social groups to generate sympathy or acceptance.
These photos taken some years ago, correspond to the Exotic Tropical Flora Park (Parque de la Exótica Flora Tropical), a botanical garden with an area of about 10 hectares and a collection that exceeds 2500 varieties of plant species from various parts of the world, located in a former mission of Capuchin monks built in the mid-eighteenth century, a short distance from the city of San Felipe in the central part of Venezuela.
The park was designed by French landscape botanist Jean Phillipe Thoze and opened to the public in 1998. Its gardens can be toured on foot, in electric vehicles or horse-drawn carriages, and it has restaurants and a hotel for visitors who wish to stay overnight.
El mimetismo es una habilidad que posen ciertos seres vivos para asemejarse a otros con los que no guarda alguna relación, y al entorno, para obtener alguna ventaja funcional.
En el ser humano, la mimetización es la imitación o adopción de comportamientos similares a los de otros individuos o grupos sociales para generar simpatías o aceptación.
Estas fotos tomadas algunos años atrás, corresponden al Parque de la Exótica Flora Tropical, un jardín botánico con una superficie de alrededor de 10 hectáreas y una colección que supera las 2500 variedades de especies vegetales de diversas partes del mundo, ubicado en una antigua misión de monjes capuchinos construida a mediados del Siglo XVIII, a corta distancia de la ciudad de San Felipe en la parte central de Venezuela.
El parque fue diseñado por el botánico paisajista francés, Jean Phillipe Thoze, y abrió sus puertas al público en 1998. Sus jardines pueden ser recorridos a pie, en vehículos eléctricos o en carruajes tirados por caballos, además, cuenta con restaurantes y un hotel para los visitantes que deseen pernoctar.
