The creeping daisy is a shrub native to the tropical zones of the American continent, which has been introduced in Europe and in the islands of the Pacific Ocean.
They are characterized by their abundant and tiny flowers of an intense yellow color that usually do not exceed 3 centimeters in diameter. They are commonly used for total ground cover because they do not require much care.
In my city, it is very common to find these shrubs blooming during most of the year. These particular photos were taken a couple of years ago in an outdoor planter in the lobby of the building where my mother lives.
La margarita rastrera es un arbusto originario de las zonas tropicales del continente americano, que ha sido introducida en Europa y en las islas del Oceáno Pacífico.
Se caracterizan por sus abundantes y diminutas flores de un intenso color amarillo que no suelen superar los 3 centímetros de diámetro. Se usan comúnmente para cobertura total de suelos porque no requieren mayores cuidados.
En mi ciudad, es muy frecuente encontrar estos arbustos que florean durante gran parte del año. Estas fotos en particular, las tomé un par de años atrás en una jardinera al aire libre que se encuentra en el lobby de entrada del edificio donde vive mi madre.
