There are a lot of myths about black cats out there a lot of them are in combination with an negative event, but some are also positive. A black cat is sometimes associated with bad luck, and sadly, death. This fear of black cats appears to stem from medieval times, when any animal with dark feathers or fur, including crows and ravens, signaled death.
I for myself think that it a luck to see a black cat and I always like gaining their trust.
