| В Вологде я с друзьями побывала весной 2021 года. 1 мая мы поднялись на колокольню Софийского собора в Кремле. Оттуда мы смогли рассмотреть город. Покажу пару фотографий, которые я тогда сделала. | I visited Vologda with friends in the spring of 2021. On May 1st we climbed the bell tower of the St. Sophia Cathedral in the Kremlin. From there we were able to see the city. I'll show you a couple of photos that I took then. |
| Первый вид на восток. На переднем плане слева частично видно здание Музея кружева. Там мы ещё побываем. Под зелёной крышей - Церковь Покрова на Торгу, построенная в 18 веке. Видна и красивая водонапорная башня, которая начала работать в 1899 году. Сейчас она уже утратила практическое значение. Но здание красивое. Надеюсь, оно найдёт хозяев и новое предназначение. | First view to the east. In the foreground on the left, the building of the Lace Museum is partially visible. We'll visit there later. Under the green roof is the Church of the Intercession at Torg, built in the 18th century. The beautiful water tower, which began operating in 1899, is also visible. Now it has already lost its practical significance. But the building is beautiful. I hope it finds owners and a new purpose. |

| И ещё один вид на город. На этот раз в противоположную сторону – на запад. Деревья на переднем плане относятся к Кремлёвскому саду. Вологда севернее Москвы, где уже начали распускаться листья на деревьях. Здесь же практически все деревья были голые. За деревьями можно рассмотреть две интересные церкви. Левее - Церковь Илии Пророка в Каменье, построенная в конце 17 века. Она входила в состав Ильинского монастыря, которого уже нет. Правее - Церковь Варлаама Хутынского 18 века. | And another great view of the city. This time in the opposite direction - to the west. The trees in the foreground belong to the Kremlin Garden. Vologda is north of Moscow, where the leaves on the trees have already begun to bloom. Here, almost all the trees were bare. Behind the trees you can see two interesting churches. To the left is the Church of Elijah the Prophet in Kamenye, built at the end of the 17th century. It was part of the Elias Monastery, which no longer exists. To the right is the Church of Varlaam Khutynsky from the 18th century. |
