Они представляют две мировых религии и построены в разных стилях. | My friends and I visited Tver this summer. One of the interesting beautiful places is two temples opposite each other. They represent two world religions and are built in different styles. |

Напротив неё кирпичное здание – католический костел Преображения Господня. | The building with the bright turquoise roof is a mosque built in the early 20th century. Opposite it is a brick building - the Catholic Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord. |
| Тверская соборная мечеть была открыта в 1906 году. Её построили по образцовому проекту архитектора Б. Г. Поляка в мавританском стиле. В 1935 году мечеть закрыли, а в здании размещались разные учреждения. Довольно долго здесь был ресторан «Восток». Сейчас это вновь действующая мечеть. Совсем недавно её отреставрировали. | The Tver Cathedral Mosque was opened in 1906. It was built according to the exemplary design of the architect B. G. Polyak in the Moorish style. In 1935, the mosque was closed, and the building housed various institutions. For quite a long time there was a restaurant “Vostok”. Now it is a functioning mosque again. It was recently restored. |
| Католический собор на этом месте был построен в 1864 году. После революции здание использовалось в различных светских целях, а в 1974 году было разрушено. Нынешнее здание в стиле модернизма и готики на том же месте построили в начале 2000-х годов. | The Catholic Cathedral on this site was built in 1864. After the revolution, the building was used for various secular purposes, and in 1974 it was destroyed. The current building in the modernist and Gothic style was built on the same site in the early 2000s. |

Наверху есть обзорная площадка, с которой открываются великолепные виды на Тверь. | I took these photographs from the high-rise building of the Panorama Hotel. At the top there is an observation deck from which magnificent views of Tver open. |
