Cordillera landscape behind cacti and succulents

Happy new week, amazing people!

It was a few months ago that I got to travel and visit the second highest point in the Philippines, which is the Halsema Highway at 7400 feet above sea level, located in Atok, Benguet, overlooking the gorgeous, lush mountains of the Cordillera and Bontoc. I took these photos when I had a stopover from the Northern Blossoms mountain farm visit to get some coffee and do a little souvenir shopping as well. There were a few vendors selling cacti and succulents in the area, which were displayed just in front of these gorgeous landscapes. Halsema is about a 2-hour drive from Baguio City, which is known as the Summer Capital of the Philippines. Though it is absolutely pretty, it is very dangerous to travel up there, especially during the rainy season, since the road is very steep and landslides are very common. I am posting this as my entry to @photofeed's landscape photo challenge.
