about to bloom

Good evening, amazing people!

I have not posted anything macro in a long time, and tonight I'm going to break that. These days, inflation keeps rising, and everything that you buy is expensive, especially farm vegetables. Although I live between farmland and the beach, it's hard to grow some seedlings these days due to typhoon season. And just a few minutes ago, the rain just started pouring really hard.

This morning, after I dropped off my daughter at school, I tried checking my chili pepper seedlings to see if I could harvest a few for my fish stew, and I noticed that one of them started bearing flowers. I needed to get some close-up shots, and one of my favorite macro photography subjects is tiny flowers, aside from water drops. So here are some of them, from my backyard to yours. I am posting this as my entry to @photofeed's Macro Photography Round 45.

Thank you all, dear friends!
