Winter Warmth

Here in Montreal, one snowy morning, I went out for a walk with my wife. We each brought a camera, and I shot this. I really like telephoto lenses for portraits. This one was shot with the Takumar (Bayonet) 1:2.5 135mm, one of my favourite lenses. I bought it second-hand a few months ago for $80, and I love this lens. It's really sharp, even wide open. It makes a lot of bokeh. And that fast aperture of f/2.5 makes it a great choice for low-light situations. It has a solid metal build and a nice big focus ring. It even has an integrated telescoping hood. And it's compatible with modern Pentax bodies. Oh...and I love my wife too.
