The southern most tip of the Cape

Cape Point is commonly thought to be the southernmost (not really, but I'll still like to think so) tip of the Cape Peninsula in South Africa. As this is a very important location where the ships turn, a light house is located here to warn ships about its rocky cliffs so that they don't crash into it.

I visited this place some years back when I was in South Africa, and I remember taking a day tour that brought me to a few places including the Cape Point. It was a place that I really wanted to visit as it used to intrigue me when I had my geography lesson when I was younger. The tip of the Cape isn't really much to see (it really just rocks), but the the surrounding area of Cape Point was really beautiful. I would recommend taking time to visit the Cape Point just for the amazing scenery!
