Allow me to mainly steal the words from Garrison Keillor: Well, it's been a quiet week at the lake here in Michigan, my hometown, out there on the edge of the prairie. And indeed it has, yet I would say it has yielded a fairly middling Sunday. I am not going to say it was the best, most likely it wasnt the worst either. I suppose one could make argument for or against whether or not it was truly beautiful or sublime, but lets just go with it for the sake of ease.
I dont think this is overly beautiful nor sublime but it is what occupied a number of hours. Trying to get this O2 sensor off the old truck. We have a line wrench on it plus a breaker bar for leverage...nada. We keep soaking it with PB, nada. We are going to order an O2 socket special tool. Then add in some MAPP gas to the equation. Its a grudge match now!!
In many ways all the parts were there for a phenomenal Sunday, both beautiful and sublime. We had sun and so many clearly had fun, yet my old Charlie Brown luck is never far away. Of course I have become rather used to it, and now have gotten pretty good at expecting to see it presence more often than not.
I got all fired up to make some potstickers. Also called fried dumpling, they are a perfect finger food...if you have the proper wrappers. I found out I was completely out of them in the fridge...so I made my own wrappers. Not bad, but I prefer the ease of the store bought wrappers!

We have been loading right along. The trailer seems to be doing well. It sure holds a lot.
I was trying to grab a shot or three of my Coleus plants...
But this guy was not happy with me hanging around.
And kept giving me the eye!!!
