We had our first snow here in Northern Vermont this week. Only a few inches, but still enough to give the outdoors that sound muffling and clean, quiet feeling. Was very nice to go for a walk in it on this Sublime Sunday. We found several animal trails and tracked a while up into the hills and down to the creek.
Here's a shot of the small creek that runs not far from our house. The beavers have built a few dams along it and have expanded a couple of those areas out into small ponds.
A little waterfall along the hill that feeds into the creek. There are several small springs up on the hill that eventually drain down.
Just a little clearing area. The deer frequently pass through here.
And of course, Miss Betty loves playing and going for walks in the snow. First she has seen it again since she was just a little puppy.
