A warm greeting to all of us who are lovers of this #cinnamoncupcoffee community. I found this contest #8 that brings us the @cinnccf team and I was interested in participating, because I am one of the people who love coffee and I also like to write stories related to it, this time we have the government has prohibited the coffee as you would do to avoid it and continue to enjoy this measure. So I hope you enjoy my story.

"The Fight for Coffee"

Carla and Margarita have been good friends since they were little girls, since they grew up in the same community, every afternoon Margarita would see her friend and Carla's grandmother used to make a warm and aromatic coffee, they enjoyed drinking it with some delicious cookies, it was from there that both friends discovered the taste for coffee, they studied in school together until college, they shared parts of their lives together, after getting married they had children who are also friends and have created a kind of family with so much union and affection.

Every afternoon Carla and Margarita continue to share their coffee in the beautiful garden that Carla has in her house and they always remember their grandmother who was so loving and spoiled them when they were little girls and also their anecdotes from when their grandmother was a young girl. So they consider themselves great coffee lovers. One afternoon they heard the news that the left had won in their country, they did not support that government because they sensed that they were dictators and that what they want is to take over the country, only for their benefits, so they began to worry.

One morning Margarita's son, who works in a large supermarket, told his mother that the government had begun to introduce measures in all the stores in the country, which must be complied with, otherwise all the stores would be closed, the measure was to sell two products per person and this would be controlled by ID number, and she was horrified and went out with her son and her husband to do the week's shopping. They went to the supermarket where her son worked as assistant manager, so she took advantage of this and between the three of them they made a good regulated market, because if before they bought 12 packages of coffee per month, they were able to buy only 6 packages.

On the other hand, her friend Carla also did the same, so in those days they could not share many coffee afternoons since they had to start regulating their coffee consumption so that it would be enough, it would be like a cup of coffee for each day, but they would never miss it since they were addicted and needed at least a cup to keep them active and energetic in their day.

In the following months the government continued to implement measures, where the dictatorship was unleashed in the country, as they imagined and it was that coffee was prohibited and that it was contraband, as a result of this and in almost all the stores the shelves were empty, since everyone was worried and made nervous purchases of all products, because many thought that just as they banned the coffee also the others would disappear.

That day Margarita met with Carla's family and they came up with a plan, the measure was just beginning, so the stores were still stocked with coffee, although not for sale, they took the opportunity that her son was the assistant manager of one of the prestigious supermarkets in the city and everyone went to buy with big bags so that the coffee packages were not seen, so he went to the warehouse and took out many packages of coffee very cautiously put them in two large bags and paid making it look like they were other products.
They paid making it look like they were other products when in fact they were bags of coffee. Then they quickly went to Carla's house which was very big with a beautiful garden, there was a big tree and they made a hole in the trunk and hid the coffee packages so when the military went to check they would not find any clues.

They were unconcerned for a while as they as a family did not let such a government stop them from enjoying coffee and in every sip they made a wish that such a dictatorship would end in their country and their friendship would remain united forever.

I really enjoyed doing this kind of contest and especially talking about coffee which is one of the things I enjoy the most in my life, because I like its bitter taste and smell and also if they are accompanied by my the magic coffee pot. Many greetings to the friends @millycf1976 and @leaky20 to create this contest. Thanks for reading my publication. I invite my friends @mariela53 , @angelica7, @geadriana
