Made my heart swell, this was in the coffee shop beside the cash.

'Adopt a broken cookie today <3'

You can buy a couple broken cookies for half price of one. How do you not adopt deliciousness.

So often in life people throw away the broken things. It's not common to darn socks anymore when they get a hole in the heel, the old phone is replaced for the newer model. The access to in fast fashion and having the new look, marriages are ended when work maybe could have been done.
How have we become a society that frets at the 'broken'?

Everything seems to break eventually these days... Maybe appreciating the new thing it's become as it breaks is helpful.

Questions like this were pondered over these cups of coffee, while we enjoyed adopting something broken.
