A coffee miracle at Christmas ☕🎄

In the middle of Christmas Eve, Georgia was not feeling very optimistic, she had recently started a business, a small coffee shop and it was not going as well as she thought it was going to go, she hardly received any customers and there were more expenses than profits, but we all know that at Christmas anything can happen, even a miracle.

Georgia despite not having the best mood, still decorated her coffee shop with beautiful Christmas decorations, she decided to work that day even though it was Christmas, because she was not in her native country and did not have the presence of her family there, only a few friends, besides, Georgia knew she had to earn her money, she would not give up, she wanted to get ahead and get her business afloat that with much effort she created.

From inside the business Georgia saw many people passing by, but none of them stopped to enter her coffee shop, long hours passed until a dirty looking lady dressed in old clothes came into her shop looking for shelter from the cold and asking for some coffee. Georgia looked her up and down, but not in a judgmental way, but with compassion, because although she had never lived on the street, she knew what it was like not to be in the best of times or not to have enough resources to live a dignified life. Georgia was not interested in knowing why the lady came to live in that state, she was only interested in helping her and that's what she did, besides, how could she deny a cup of hot coffee to a person freezing from the cold in the middle of Christmas Eve?, impossible, she could not live with her conscience.

Georgia lovingly prepared a delicious coffee for the lady and served it to her in one of the best cups she had and not only that, but she also gave her a cupcake with chocolate sprinkles. The old lady was not very talkative, she was just sitting there, but when Georgia gave her the cup of coffee and the cupcake, her eyes lit up and she smiled a warm smile, silently enjoying the kind gesture.

As she finished enjoying her coffee, the old lady finally spoke, asking Georgia the following question "why is your coffee so empty if you offer quality and have a kind heart?" to which Georgia sighed and replied "I guess it's because it's new and small in this big city that has so many coffee shops, maybe it doesn't get much attention", she looked at Georgia and gave an extremely bright smile "well that will change, life rewards those who make an effort and with affection show respect to others, sometimes everything looks dark, but whoever perseveres is rewarded, believe in my words" Georgia looked at the lady with curiosity and fascination, suddenly she looked enlightened and even younger, "my best wishes to you and have a beautiful Christmas" finally said the lady leaving through the door of the store, saying goodbye to Georgia.

The old lady's words had left Georgia with a great sense of peace and satisfaction, maybe her coffee may not be the most popular, but it allowed her to make someone happy on Christmas Eve. An hour and a half passed since the lady left, Georgia was sitting there having a coffee when suddenly three people entered the café laughing, when Georgia saw them she jumped up in surprise and asked them without thinking, "what are you doing here?" to which they answered laughing and confused, "drinking coffee?" Georgia felt very happy, since she opened, she only received approximately one client per day and many times she had none, this would be the first time that there would be so many people in her coffee shop so she quickly began to prepare the orders with a lot of dedication.

When she finished preparing the coffees and turned around, she saw that there were approximately 25 people inside her coffee shop, which made her feel shocked, but at the same time she could not contain the happiness she felt. Finally her shop was full, finally she could make several people taste her delicious coffee, finally her efforts paid off. Everything felt very magical and Georgia's Christmas had been brightened, she remembered the old lady's words and smiled, everything felt like a miracle, a Christmas miracle.
