But first, coffee!

Namaste and Good Morning!

I was not always a coffee lover, I like tea the best between tea and coffee. But then after drinking the coffee made by my wife, I felt as if till now I was drinking something else in the name of coffee and perhaps that is why I never liked it. So now that I had fallen in love with coffee, I was curious to know the art behind its distinct taste. I spent 1-2 days watching my wife making coffee and tried to understand the process, and then today I thought of starting the day with coffee made with my own hands.

My wife did not like this idea at all because she did not like her morning coffee being tampered with. I don't notice minor differences, but my wife is not satisfied if she doesn't get the perfect blend of precise milk, sugar, coffee and all this even in her own hand-made coffee. But somehow I convinced her and then I was ready to make today's super tasty coffee...

First, meet our Arabic coffee. I don't know its name but its smell is strong, sweet and fresh.

There is also a lid on it but because it is monsoon season here, my wife has covered it with a folded paper towel to protect it from moisture.

Here first of all I took a few spoons of coffee powder in a glass and then to sweeten it, I added Desi Khand, which looks like brown sugar, and added very little water and started beating it with the help of a beater.

After about 2 to 3 minutes of beating, its colour changed from dark brown to very mild, but I still had to beat it for about 1 to 2 minutes more, after which the mixture would become even thicker.

I don't know the technical reasoning behind this whole process but what I experienced was that after beating this mix like this, the smell of coffee became even stronger and also the mix started looking very creamy and frothy.

After this, I boiled the milk..

Took 2 glasses and added that creamy coffee mix into both glasses..

Poured the hot milk into the glasses.

Anddd, our coffee is ready! :)

Although today is not a holiday but the weather was nice and last night we started a new Korean web series so thought why not enjoy coffee while watching an episode of it. ☕😎

That's all for today, I hope you also enjoyed my coffee! ;)
