This was only our second visit to Düsseldorf and because it was evening the time before, we decided to explore what the city has to offer during the day. We went into some novelty anime and game shops, purchased some groceries for the long trip ahead of us and marveled at the historical buildings around us, especially the "gothic" styled church we passed by. It definitely had something haunting, yet compelling.
After a lot of walking from one location to another with heavy luggage on our shoulders, our feet hurt and our bodies were tired from the cold, we were longing for a warm beverage. We found a little place called Moyo coffee online, that was near our departure point. It was cozy and warm, in spite of the amenities for electronic gadgets.
There were what seemed to be students and colleagues busy brainstorming ideas, without being a disturbance. The staff was friendly and ready to answer any questions about their menu. Because of the open glass windows around us, we had a good view of the busy street, without getting overwhelmed due to the many plants and wooden furniture.
We ordered a warm cappuccino, that warmed us up and calmed our minds and with that our muscles. Just like how we re-energized our bodies, we charged our phone batteries and before knowing it, it was time to gather at our departure point.
