Hail to the Hive!
we are now officially land locked for the time being until we get another narrowboat, which is the future plan. So life on dry land still involves coffee, some things don't change and the coffee addiction and temptation can occur and appear at any time as I found out when @diveratt asked if I fancied coming to IKEA with him as he needed a few things and it's only 20 mins away. "sure" I said " but I'll need to exercise self restraint as the place hypnotizes you into buying stuff you don't really need to get!"
So off we went and I had a nice walk around their one way system looking at a 1000 things I would have bought if we were still aboard Badger the Narrowboat but did't as my will power was strong.
Until we got to this pallet load of wonderous black gold!
Oh no! I'm going to have to buy some ! I must have, I neeeeed!
It nearly got worse.
First I had to stop myself from buying one of each kind of coffee and then I needed to talk myself out of buying a 'Back Up' coffee press in case ours broke as we've had that happen before.
I was then having inner turmoil about buying these coffee glasses 'for the next boat '
and of course these may come in handy....
Nooooooo!
I was strong and I didn't cave in and only bought the coffee and @diveratt bought some oat chocolate cookies to accompany the lovely coffee also
So to reward myself for being strong and showing the ultimate in self discipline walking through the Valley of IKEA temptation, fearing no evil really useful nick knacks that of course I needed but no not now, I got the 2 of us some coffee and hot dogs ( no meatballs this time) and some donuts to take back for @millycf1976
Bob the Cat was waiting for us on our arrival home looking as superior and imperious as ever. Typical cat.
And I wasn't going to wait to sample the goods either. @diveratt has quite the coffee HQ in his kitchen.
mmmmmm donuts
