Hail to the Hive!

While we were in the Philippines running the dive shop we had a guest named George that was stuck in our town due to the whole covid lockdown scenario. He was also a diving instructor and when circumstances allowed us tomre open he did a spot of diving with us. Upon his return to the UK he set about converting a horse trilerminto a coffee shop. That’s right a horse trailer. Yup, into a coffee shop.

And wow did he do a great job of it!

As luck would have it he managed to get a pitch for his mobile liquid black gold sales wagon right on the side of a canal junction in Braunston. We just had to go and now that we are mobile again this was our first destination. You can see our litlle Badger the Narrowboat in the background. What a great location as it is right at a waterpoint for filling the boat full of fresh water, perfect!

I really like how he’s stylishly converted the horse trailer into this superb mobile coffee shop. Very tastefully done.

Now as a rule I am a black coffee man with the occasional cappuccino if the mood takes me but George was eager to show me all the range so I got properly spoiled with dirty chai lattes, hot chocwithncinger and marshmallows, cappuccinos and well everything really, chocolate cake and backn rolls. I really got spoiled.

The best part about it is we are moored 20 mins walk away tonight so I will be taking a stripoll down in the morning to get spoiled again. I reckon just black coffee tomorrow though. Too much sweet and sugar today.

and a bacon roll.

The pleasure of George’s company and possibly a cappuccino and maybe a bit of chocolate cake ugghhhhh I am so weak I know I will over indulge again.
