Welcome back to my blog ☕✨
Hello, dear Coffee Lovers 🤪❤️☕ I am pleased to lovingly share with you one of my most special recipes: a rich and delicious coffee brownie 🍫☕ It is a recipe that I have been recreating with my eyes closed for many years and it has a lot of sentimental value for me.
I have always been a good entrepreneur and I like business. In Venezuela, besides receiving my salary for my work when I was a university student, I always liked to have extra money and that's why I started selling brownies. They sold like hotcakes and my customers were very complimentary of their texture and flavor. The secret? A lot of love and the flavor of the coffee, because it greatly enhances the flavor of the chocolate bar or cocoa powder. Even here in Tenerife, where I currently live, in the shadow of the pandemic and the lack of a job, I started with several cakes: carrot, pumpkin (auyama), but the favorite of my customers has always been the Brownie. I never get tired of recreating it at home because it's so easy to make and perfect for any occasion. Sweet in just the right measure and juicy inside, it's a sure "yes" to enjoy on a rainy afternoon 😍☔ (which is when I like to prepare it the most) or why not, for the simple pleasure of tasting a rich and delicious brownie.
Ingredientes // Ingredients
✓250 gramos de margarina.
✓100 gramos de azúcar blanca
✓100 gramos de azúcar morena o panela.
✓1 tableta de chocolate oscuro de 180 - 200 gr.
✓3 huevos.
✓100 gramos de nueces.
✓30 ml de café expreso.
✓1 cucharadita de sal.
✓1 cucharadita de vainilla.
250 grams of all-purpose flour. - 250 grams of margarine. - 100 grams of white sugar. - 100 grams of brown sugar or panela. - 1 dark chocolate bar of 180 - 200 gr. - 3 eggs. - 100 grams of walnuts. - 30 ml of espresso coffee. - 1 teaspoon salt. - 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Preparación // Preparation
Chop the chocolate into small pieces and melt it together with the margarine over low heat un Maria's bath. Stir constantly. Once completely dissolved, turn off and let stand.
Pour the chocolate and margarine mixture into a bowl and add the white and brown sugar. Then add the vanilla along with the coffee. Beat manually with a balloon whisk. Then add the eggs one by one and stir very well.
With the help of a wire mesh strainer, add the flour and sprinkle it little by little over the mixture. Stir well to avoid lumps. Add the salt.
Chop the walnuts and roll them in flour. Once you pour the brownie mixture into a previously buttered and floured baking dish, begin to strategically place the walnut pieces in it. Bake for 35 minutes at 180°C. Once the baking is finished, let it cool for the necessary time at room temperature. Decorate as you like, I did it with dulce de leche threads. Taste and accompany, of course, with a rich coffee with milk ☕
