Iyke was late for work, he knew the moment he woke up and looked at his time and it was exactly 8:30 AM, he tried to be as quick as possible to get out of the house, when pattie his cat ran towards him, he had to let her know that big brother is late for work today, he would prefer to talk and play with her when he comes back, Pattie, who was a smart cat, noticed that Iyke was not in a good mood that morning.
He ran outside with his jacket around his neck then hailed a taxi going his way, he hated being embarrassed on his duty, as he was on his way, before he got to the office, he recalled, last week how Mr. Craig spoke so upset with Steven for being late for work, so he thought of what he could do to save him from embarrassment, then an idea came to his mind the moment he saw a coffee shop.
Iyke got into the cafe not caring what his time was, he had to have a cup of two Arabica coffees, when he remembers that nothing could make his boss more understanding to listen to his excuses than when he sees his favorite type of coffee, he kept one for himself because he too was freezing as the rains didn't stop in time that day.
He got terrified, immediately he saw Jemi walking out of his boss's office, thinking that was his Boss, not knowing it was his colleagues Jemi who tried to cover his lateness up, he thanked him, get into his office and sat thinking it was enough, when the courier came to his office and delivered him a message from the other departments, he asked her to please take the coffee to his boss then put a written note next to it.
Mr. Craig, was not in his office at the time, when he came back, he saw something that looked like something on his table, he smiled and sat down, he felt his soul with happiness, as he drank it, that's when he saw a note written by Iyke which explains why he was late and begs him to never do it again, Mr. Craig smiles and says "he really knows how to shut me up, check out his little trick".
But that didn't stop Mr. Craig from letting him know that working in this company means that we are a family and being a family means that we must be committed to our work for the growth and development of this organization to which we belong, promise yourself never to be late for his duty again.

when he get home, Pattie saw his delighted mood, she knew he was happy now, she jumped up and landed on his shoulder and her brother told her what happened to him in the office and the trick he hinted at by using his Boss favorite coffee "Arabica" to keep the peace.
