Lunch With a Cup of Cinnamon Coffee at a Pretty Asian Restaurant in...

To have holidays in the summer - what can be better, especially if your old soul friend is visiting you?! So, I got absolutely happy when my friend from Finland decided to come to Estonia for a week.

I think a woman who does not like shopping is as rare as a man who likes it. We both are statistically normal instances of the female tribe so shopping had an important place in our holiday programme.

Shopping for fun was the main idear of us coming to "Astri", the mall in Narva, our neighbouring town.

I like the "flower towers" they created to decocate the entrances to the building.

"Astri Keskus" is the biggest mall in our area, so we did have fun wandering around it.

Nice time in a good company when we were trying on many wonderful summer dresses, but ... we bought nothing! Is not it the best shopping when it makes your day, you enjoy the process and your money is still with you 😁!

After an hour of wondering around a mall in Narva we felt hunger and - hurray - here it is, "Monk", a pretty restaurant of Asian cuisine which I like a lot.

When I saw its name for the very first time, I expected something connected with monastery life and was extremely surprised to see lots of monkeys used in their decoration. They just cut the word to make it shorter! Interesting. I have not known it is possible to do.

They have a thick menu book with a lot of dishes to choose from. We both like Chinese and Thai food, so the restaurant was the right choice.

We ordered a spicy soup (unfortunately, I have not written the name and do not remember it) for me, shrimps with rice for Nadezhda and a bowl of rice with vegetables to share. And bread - wonderful garlic bread!

To put a pleasant dot in the end of our lunch, we had cups of cinnamon coffee which was also good.

It was time to leave for home but ... how could we return from shopping "with empty hands"? At that moment I remembered that I need a hat to swim in the sea under strong sun during my holidays which were coming soon. Please believe that the hats in the photos were not the only ones we tried on :) !
